Welcome to my new personal blog. This blog is my personal thoughts and in no way represents the view of Insane Throttle Biker News. Why the personal blog? Well, I wanted to be able to share thoughts on whats happening in the biker scene on my own blog duh!! No, lol. This is a place you will find information related to Motorcycle Madhouse like upcoming shows, final thoughts on episodes, etc.
Motorcycle Madhouse is going into its 13th season and has grown worldwide into something I could've never imagined. Its all thanks to all those who follow us on a continuous basis and help spread the show. This season we will be on the spring schedule. Meaning, Mondays 7pmcst and Saturdays 11amcst. We will be start back five days a week November 1st. Wait!! Why not five days a week? Its riding season duh!!! No, this enables us to go out in the field and cover events, do interviews and bring everyone great content. Who wants to see someone sitting in a radio studio all the time? Not I lol.
So lets get to some news about the upcoming season on the show. As I said earlier you will be seeing more of the show taking place in the field. One of the priorities of the show will be getting interviews with bikers at events and rallies. Not to mention covering biker friendly businesses and dealership reviews. I'm structuring the show in a way the audience will still get the feel of radio, but will also get a great viewing experience as well. Motorcycle Madhouse will be exclusive to Insane Throttle Motorcycle Magazines YouTube channel. Mp3s of each show will be available in our audio library at Insane Throttle Store.
The cost of the MP3 version of an episode will be 99cents. Or you can watch the episode for free on the YouTube Channel. We are actually in the process of getting all of our shows available on MP3. It will take some time to get the first 12 seasons completed. Why the charge for the Mp3s? The cost of the show is entirely funded by viewer donations. With the upcoming season and moving forward the cost of doing the show will increase. So even though the episodes will be free on YouTube. We had to come up with a way to off set some of the cost of the show going forward. The idea of MP3s of the show available for download on any device to take on the go came into play. This is the reason you no longer can get the show on podcast form. We are currently working on a yearly and monthly membership program where you can get unlimited access to the show on MP3. So again, the Madhouse is still free. But you would have to go to the YouTube channel for it. If you want to continue hearing it on MP3 then each episode will be available soon in our store.
Besides the MP3s people have been asking how they can support the show. We are currently using Paypal to accept donations. We will be setting up a one time donation page as well as a recurring donation option. More to come in a later post.
